While the mainstream press has been busy scrutinizing every one of President Donald Trump's cabinet nominees, l've been focusing on an individual whom I believe will be one of the most powerful men in the president's orbit.
It's not Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, or Vice President-elect J.D.
Vance.
He's not a household name yet — but I believe he'll soon be. By the time everyone realizes who he is, he'll be one of the most powerful
"bankers" in the world.
A couple of weeks ago, news broke that President Trump plans to meet with Brian Armstrong. If you're not familiar with the name, that's OK. Not many folks outside the crypto sphere know who he is.
But you're probably familiar with his company: Coinbase.
Coinbase is the single-largest custodian of Bitcoin in the world. Ten of the 12 firms that offer Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) use Coinbase as their custodian.
All told, Coinbase custodies $273 billion worth of crypto assets.
Given all the gossip surrounding President Trump's cabinet picks, it's shocking to me that news of his upcoming meeting with Armstrong is getting such scant attention.

Friends, if you’re looking to fund your retirement from traditional investment vehicles like stocks and bonds, those days are over. 📉

The current yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note is about 3.7% — significantly lower than its long-term average of 4.25%. Even if I gave you $100,000 to put into the 10-year notes right now, that’s less than $4,500 in annual income to live on.

The stock market isn’t doing much better.

Today, the average annual return on the S&P 500 is about 10.7%. Even if you put $100,000 in the index and let it compound – it’d take you about 30 years to reach $2.3 million.

If you’re waiting for the stock market to bail you out, you’ll be waiting a very long time. Time you probably don’t have.

In situations like these, you have to think outside the box…
