KNOW Women Welcomes New Sarasota Territory Owner, Lynne Kimmich
Lynne Kimmich is a trusted Financial Representative, with a clear purpose and drive: to provide women with the financial guidance and strategies to live a life of abundance. Her overarching mission is to not only empower young girls and women with financial independence but to ensure they have a true foundation of financial literacy. While she thrives in a variety of financial disciplines, she focuses her knowledge on helping women plan for their own financial longevity and enjoy their retirement with confidence.
A 21-year veteran of the financial services industry, Lynne specializes in assisting her clients’ wealth accumulation, minimizing levels of risk, defending against financial hazards, and enhancing their net retirement income. As an entrepreneur at heart, I have dedicated my career to helping people develop and discover their financial acumen and independence. She truly enjoys working with clients to reveal hidden threats and capitalize on new opportunities that protect and grow wealth.
Today, Lynne is the director of Girls Going Places Fort Myers*, which focuses on enterprising and community-minded women between 12-18 years of age. She discovered her passion for helping clients become more informed and empowered investors. Working from that foundation, she has expanded her outreach and continues to educate women of all ages.
In addition to Girls Going Places, Lynne is closely involved with Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida and the Small Business Development Center
at Florida Gulf Coast University. She has received a number of awards for her volunteer work, financial guidance, and dedication to causes and communities across the county.
Lynne lives in Tampa Bay with her amazing husband, Michael, with a combined total of eight children and 14 grandchildren. Outside of the office, she enjoys gourmet cooking and spending time with my fast-growing family.
We asked Lynne for five facts to get to KNOW her better:
1. She’s been published in the Wall Street Journal 2 times for being a Guardian Hero
2. She won awards from the SBDC for Lee County and went on to win Volunteer of the year for the State of Florida and the Atlanta region.
3. She was a Make a Wish Volunteer of the Year and awarded the Corner Stone Hope Society.
4. She has sat on the Board of Blessings In A Backpack feeding more than 6000 children every Friday for the last 6 years.
5. She was nominated for Best Buddies Champion of the Year for SWFL 2022 and Nominated for Women in Business Apex Awards three times.
It’s clear philanthropy and give back is critical to Lynne’s personal mission statement.
When we ask Lynne what excites her most about KNOW Sarasota, she told us:
I am so blessed to have many women in my life over the years! I tell myself every day “Be Bold”! I wake up everyday putting my feet on the ground and say “watch out world, I am here!”
I am excited to be in the KNOW, but most of all be in the room with the women I want to surround myself with. You know who you are! Like minded women wanting to build women up and bring value to the women I meet. I have always been known as a resource to my family, friends and clients. I am a connector and mentor to many, showing them how to achieve their hopes, dreams and goals. I am here to serve my community through being philanthropic and giving back to those in need.
